Max. size:  18 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; brackish; marine; depth range - 20 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: known only from eastern Australia; possibly in New Caledonia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 5-5; Dorsal soft rays (total): 22-22; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 19-19. Little variation in color (Ref. 9002).
Biology:  Found in clear, rocky estuaries (Ref. 9002).
