Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Pakistan and India.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in small streams and rivers with gravelly bottom (Ref. 41236). Apparently non-migratory and widespread in hill streams (Ref. 33323).
