Distribution:  Asia: China.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-10; Anal soft rays: 7-7. Slender body (depth 14.7-18.9 % SL); shallow caudal peduncle (depth 8.9-11.8% SL); pharyngeal teeth formula 2.3.5-5.3.2, teeth with pointed; and no bar nor stripe on body (Ref. 40456).
