Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-11; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 8-9; Vertebrae: 42-43. Sexual dimorphism apparent in dorsal fin coloration: females with a vertical black mark (Ref. 49923).
