Environment:  benthopelagic; marine
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Taiwan to southern China, Gulf of Thailand, and southwest Java.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 11-11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 23-25; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 7-7
Biology:  Inhabits coastal waters and feeds on small crustaceans (Ref. 2113).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 01 July 2016 Ref. (130435)
