Family:  Pseudochromidae (Dottybacks), subfamily: Pseudochrominae
Max. size:  2.2 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 12 - 18 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 27-27; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 14-14. Description: Characterized by 32-34 anterior lateral line scales; predorsal scales 20; unknown live color; head and body tan with rows of small dark spots corresponding with horizontal scale rows in preservative (Ref. 90102).
Biology:  Found in sand-rubble bottoms with isolated small coral patches in 12-18 m depth (Ref 90102).
