Family:  Pseudochromidae (Dottybacks), subfamily: Pseudochrominae
Max. size:  8.3 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 28 - 36 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 26-26; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 15-15. Description: Characterized by white color grading to grey on posterior body; dorsal surface of head extending to dorsal fin base, yellow; upper back brownish; anterior lateral line scales 24-27; predorsal scales 21-24; depth of body 30.5-31.2% of SL (Ref. 90102).
Biology:  Found in outer slopes around isolated rock and coral outcrops in 28-36 m (Ref 90102).
