Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: adjacent waters of Tsushima Islands in Japan, Pohai Sea, Yellow Sea, northern East China Sea and Korean Peninsula.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-13; Anal soft rays: 9-12
Biology:  Inhabits shallow waters with sandy-muddy bottoms (Ref. 11230, 41299).
