Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6.30000019073486 - 7; dH range: 1 - 6, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: lower Little Scarcies river drainage in western Sierra Leone southward to the drainage system of the lower Lofa river in western Liberia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in pools, brooks, swamps and small streams, mainly in the shallow and stagnant parts in the coastal rainforest (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
