Family:  Siluridae (Sheatfishes)
Max. size:  16 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater; pH range: 6 - 7
Distribution:  Asia: known only from northern Sumatra in Indonesia, northern Peninsular Malaysia, southern and south-eastern Thailand and southern Cambodia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Seems to inhabit fast-flowing mountain streams with a sandy or rocky bottom and can be found hiding under rocks.
