Distribution:  Western Atlantic: Puerto Rico (Ref. 51183) and from Panama to Brazil.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found usually in shallow coastal waters over sandy mud bottoms. Feeds mainly on bottom-dwelling organisms.
