Max. size:  4 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater; brackish; marine, amphidromous
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: Tasmania, Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabit brackish estuaries or freshwater reaches where there are mud bottoms. Sometimes captured in estuarine tide pools where it buries itself in the sand (Ref. 44894). Adults migrate to lower marine estuarine areas to spawn in spring.
