Max. size:  66.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 60 - 610 m
Distribution:  Southwest Atlantic: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to Argentina.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A benthic species occurring around 200 m depth, rarely found above 60 m. Maximum depth reported taken from Ref. 57178.
