Distribution:  North America: Coatzacoalcos and Papaloapan ecoregions in Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Common in small streams and brooks with light current and rockpools in areas with extensive limestone outcroppings; relatively uncommon in fast-flowing streams (Ref. 52914).
