Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Tatantze in Louping County, Yunnan, China.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-12; Anal soft rays: 8-8. Slender and elongate body (body depth 14-16% SL) and slender caudal peduncle (1.98-2.35 times longer than deep); body nearly naked, scales present only on dorsal and ventral margin of caudal peduncle; head pores present (Ref. 12040).
Biology:  Found in a small marsh with abundant vegetation.
