Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-10; Anal soft rays: 12-12; Vertebrae: 39-41. Pectoral fin modally with 15 rays; pectoral fin never extending to origin or ventral fin; 18-20 scales around caudal peduncle; modally 9 scales above lateral line; and maxillary extending to vertical of anterior margin of orbit (Ref. 59038).
