Country info:  Reported from Laguna de Bay (Ref. 80824), Pasig River; Santa Cruz, Laguna; Orani, Bataan; Cavite; and Navotas, Rizal (Ref. 280). A commercial fish with a recorded catch of 745 MT in 1983 from Laguna de Bay alone. Museum specimens collected in 1984 from various localities, LRS-84133 (Ref. 13460). Also Ref. 94476.
