Max. size:  14 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 35 - 146 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 86-93; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 68-74. Brown in color with dark spots arranged in longitudinal rows on eyed side; 2-3 spots on straight section of lateral line (Ref. 4417). Pectorals with 11-12 rays on eyed side, 9-11 rays on blind side (Ref. 4417).
Biology:  Inhabits sandy and muddy bottoms (Ref. 5213).
