basidorsal cartilages
(English) A pair of wedge-shaped arched, thin cartilages articulating with the dorsolateral surfaces of a vertebral centrum and forming a continuous neural arch with the interdorsal cartilages to protect the spinal cord. (See also: cartilage, neural arch)
