Additional Characters The oblong eggs float vertically at first, then horizontally. Hatching occurs in 2 to 4 days, depending on water temperature. Presence of narrow perivitelline space (Ref. 265). Yolk is segmented (Ref. 35602). Egg diameter: 1.23-1.55 x 0.65-0.82 mm (Ref. 35602).
