เงี่ยงครีบหลัง (รวม): 0; ก้านครีบอ่อนที่หาง (รวม): 14-15; เงี่ยงครีบก้น 0; ก้านครีบอ่อนที่ก้น: 18. Body elongate and moderately slender. Short, blunt, non-protrusible snout. Barbel has slender stem, flattened, moderately narrow distal tip. Black in color. Barbel black except proximal band, outer edges of flattened wings and distal bulb unpigmented (Ref. 37039).
