背棘 (總數): 9; 背的軟條 (總數): 11-14; 臀棘 3; 臀鰭軟條: 10 - 12; 脊椎骨: 24. Six to seven pectoral filaments below pectoral fin, the fifth filament from the ventralmost, longest, may extend beyond caudal fin. Body and head yellow, shaded with black dorsally; fins bright orange, pectoral filaments intense vermilion (Ref. 9685).
