; acqua dolce pelagico; non migratori. Subtropical; 18°C - 24°C (Ref. 2059); 32°N - 28°N
North America: occurs only in the USA from Georgia in Ogeechee River to Alabama in Perdido River, south to central Florida. One record from Escatawpa River drainage in southeastern Mississippi.
