পৃষ্ঠীয় কাঁটা (মোট ): 6 - 7; পৃষ্ঠীয় নরম পাখনা দন্ড (মোট ): 7-8; পায়ূ কাঁটা 0; পায়ূর নরম পাখনা্তুন্ড: 7 - 9. Caudal fin rounded. Pelvic fins small.

জীববিজ্ঞান     শব্দকোষ (উদাহরণ স্বরূপ epibenthic)

Inhabits soft bottoms. Larvae pelagic (Ref. 6885). Feeds almost exclusively on crustaceans, mainly mysids. Preyed upon by flatfishes, hake, and lancetfish (Ref. 6885).
