Description synthétique Morphologie | Morphométrie

Épines dorsales (Total): 11; Rayons mous dorsaux (Total): 12; Épines anales 3; Rayons mous anaux: 10 - 11. Pectoral fins reaching to above third anal spine; body silvery with four broad black bars; two short narrow black bars ventrally in the first silver interspace on body and one on second; head with a black bar through eye; snout partly yellow (Ref. 11441).

Occurs inshore, over rocky bottom.
