Diagnosis: snout shorter than half the head length (Guinea to Liberia); body depth 4.8-6.3x and head length 3.3-4x SL; head 2.6-3.2x longer than wide; snout pointed, 1.3-1.9x longer than eye diameter; eye 3.6-4.6x head length; scale formula 11-13/100-112/7-9; 14-17 anal-fin branched rays; 15-17 dorsal fin branched rays (Ref. 1936, 86396).
體高 4.8-6.3 x 頭長 3.3-4 x SL。 頭部 2.6-3.2 倍於寬的。 吻 1.3-1.9 倍於眼 (3.6-4.6個 x 頭長) 。 身體的上半部淡黃色的通常有顯著的 4條縱向的條紋。 尾部的鮮黃色的在葉上有斜的黑色斑紋。
