Espinas dorsales (total): 1; Radios blandos dorsales (total): 6; Radios blandos anales: 6; Vértebra: 35 - 36. Large eyes (diameter of 14.1%-15.1% HL). Pectoral spine with 16 serrations on the posterior edge and 35 vertebrae. Body brown with 3 rows of cream-colored spots located (on both sides) above, along and below the lateral line.
Inhabits streams (Ref. 84801).
