背的軟條 (總數): 9; 臀鰭軟條: 8; 脊椎骨: 41. The new species is characterized by the following: an elongate snout and head; small pouchlike eyes; an adipose fin; short dorsal fin base; anal fin base originating under dorsal fin base; a clear longitudinal suborbital brownish band extending forward from behind posterior margin of orbit to snout tip; and 41 (= 26+15) vertebrae. Total fecundity is low; the ovarian eggs number only 473, despite the ovary having developed ova. Ovarian eggs could be clearly subdivided into an 'undeveloped group' (0.1-0.7?mm diameter classes, n?=?405) and a 'developed group' (0.9-1.3?mm classes, n=68), based on their frequency distribution (Ref. 58272).
新種特徵為那在:之後 一個延長的吻部與頭部; 小的 pouchlike 眼; 一個脂鰭; 短的背鰭基底; 臀鰭基底在背鰭基底下面開始; 一條清澈的縱向眶下的褐色條紋從眼窩到吻頂端的在後後緣向前延伸; 而且 41(=26+15)個脊椎骨。 總孕卵數是低的; 不在乎有發展的卵的卵巢,卵巢的卵數只有 473 。 卵巢的卵可能是細分成清楚的一個 '未發展的群'(0.1-0.7?mm 直徑分類, n?=?405) 而且一 '發展的群'(0.9-1.3?mm 班級, n=68), 以他們的度數分析為依據.(參考文獻 58272)
