Raggi dorsali molli (totale): 72; Raggi anali molli: 59; Vertebre: 42. The species is uniquely characterized by the following: no lateral line on both sides of the body; short ventral fin; total vertebrae 42 (9 trunk and 33 caudal); pectoral fin with 5 rays; spotted coloration (Ref. 84800).
