Rückenflossenweichstrahlen (insgesamt): 10-11; Afterflossenweichstrahlen: 23 - 26. Can be diagnosed by having the following characters: head depth 16.7-18.8% SL; 8 longitudinal scale rows between lateral-line and pelvic-fin origin; 47-56 scales on lateral line; and 19-22 branched anal-fin rays (Ref. 87315).
