पृष्ठीय रीढ़ (सम्पूर्ण): 9; पृष्ठीय सौफट रेज़ (सम्पूर्ण): 11-12; गुदा कांटा 0; ऐनल सौफट रेज़: 11 - 13. Second dorsal fin spine noticeably shorter than third. Pectoral fin with a falcate posterior margin and a whitish central area. Interopercular flap present.

Found on sand or mud bottoms of the continental shelf (Ref. 3476). Benthic (Ref. 75154).
