The Philippine form appears to be distinct from other members of the sub-group in Western Central Pacific (Ref. 47737). Similar form (Centrophorus cf. moluccensis) present but with distinct differences; needs critical comparison with southern African specimens (Ref. 47737). Recorded from distribution map (Ref. 31367), but questionable in Ref. 6871.
