Collected only in hillstreams near Chittagong, SE of the Ganges delta; no other material east of the Ganges, adjacent Indian states of Tripura or Mizoram, or the eastern coast of Myanmar, but absence may be due to insufficient collecting (Ref. 46238).  No picture yet.

This species has a widespread distribution in the Karnafuli and Sangu Rivers where it was collected in small hillstreams. At the Shailopropat. Falls, the specimens were collected downstream of the falls where the slope lessened, and not at the foot of the falls (Ref. 120428).  No picture yet.
