Occur in the Murray-Darling system. The extensive spawning migrations of adults pose a fishery management problem. Access to upstream spawning areas may be blocked by high level dams or altered thermal regimes which might cause considerable drop in recruitment (Ref. 2906). Conservation status : vulnerable in Victoria (Ref. 48666). Also Ref. 7300.
