Known from Almorha Hills, western Himalaya (Ref. 4832). Also found Eastern Himalayas in Tista at Darjeeling to as far as Yamuna at Delhi; Chambal drainage in Rajasthan; Sone drainage in Uttar Pradesh (Ref. 41236); and Kumaon hills, especially in Kosi River (Ref. 45255). Vulnerable (Ref. 41236).
