Known from Burnett River and Mary River (Ref. 7300). Also recorded from Brisbane, Albert, Coomera and Stanley rivers and Enoggera Reservoir (Ref. 44894). Have always been at risk from natural causes like floods or drought, but human interference with their environment has made these effects worse (Ref. 26188). Also Ref. 245.
