Diagnosis

Prominent hump just anterior to nostrils absent. Soft dorsal fin in males has the second ray slightly elongated and filamentous. Long caudal fin, its length equal to the head length. A broad dark stripe on the outer margin of the anal fin in male, its width greater than that of the pupil (Ref. 33065).
