Description: Characterized by having pinkish to red head; broad, dark brown stripe at upper portion of body that terminates in large black spot at base of caudal fin, lower portion white or pale pink; generally pale fins; yellow or whitish basal portion of dorsal fin; single lateral-line scale; depth of body 20.9-21.3 % of SL at level of origin of dorsal fin (Ref. 90102).
