Flesh, liver, ovaries, testes, skin and intestine toxic (Ref. 42715). Occur in sandy and rubble areas adjacent to corals and rocky reefs. Observed to bury itself in sand, with only the eyes and parts of the dorsal body being exposed (Ref. 128523).
