 Description of culture system
Source of water was the canal connected through the reservoir. Ponds received a basal application of 1,500 kg/ha air dried chicken manure (CM) and 100 kg/ha inorganic fertilizer (N:P:K:16-20-0). Dried CM and inorganic fertilizer were applied weekly at an average of 2,500 and 250 kg/ha/mo., respectively.
