The disease also occurred in the localities of Chiapas: Cedros, Lacanjá; Quintana Roo: Bacalar, Cabañas, Cenote Azul (Bacalar), Mahahual, Raudales, Rio Hondo; Tabasco: Camellones Chontales, El Espino, Puyatengco, Santa Anita, Tucta, Yumká; Yucatán: Celestún (laguna), Chaamac, Mitza.
