Remarks: Infestation occurs most commonly in the gills and skin. Besides 1980 (Guerrero and Monje), the infestation also occurred in 1981 (Guerrero and Paycana), 1982 (Guerrero), 1983 (Lio-Po et al.), 1986 (Natividad et al.), 1992 (Lumanlan et al.), 1997 (Yambot and Lopez) in Luzon. The infestation was also recorded in Panay in 1989 (Bondad-Reantaso and Arthur) and 1990 by the same authors.
