Max. size:  15 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 97 - 300 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Nicaragua to Peru.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Forms schools near the bottom (Ref. 9270). Feeds on small crustaceans (Ref. 9270). Utilized as fishmeal (Ref. 9270). Minimum depth from Ref. 58018.
