Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Clanwilliam-Olifants River system, South Africa.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs among rocks and cobbles and under banks in clear, flowing streams. Feeds on insects, especially the larvae of caddis and mayflies, and other small invertebrates taken from the bottom (Ref. 7248).
