Environment:  pelagic-neritic; marine; depth range 6 - 82 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: East coast of Africa, Madagascar, Red Sea and Persian Gulf, east to the Timor Sea, the Philippines and northern Australia, South and East China seas, and north to Tosa Bay, Kochi, southern Japan.
