Max. size:  4.06 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 17 - 55 m
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Japan.
Diagnosis:  Distinguished from the other species of the genus by its high count of 18-20 pectoral rays, presence of median predorsal scales, longer pectoral fins, and distinctive color pattern, including black pelvic fins (Ref. 58252).
