Max. size:  47 cm TL (male/unsexed); max.weight: 1,215.0 g; max. reported age: 15 years
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 50 - 200 m
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Japan (Ref. 58462), South Korea (Ref. 77001) and Taiwan (Ref. 4315).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in the sublittoral zone on sandy mud bottoms (Ref. 11230). Feeds on crabs (Ref. 9137).
