Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range - 408 m
Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Marquesas Islands.
Diagnosis:  Vertebrae: 158-164. Diagnosis: Body coloration light brown; a black spot in front of the pectoral fin. Dorsal fin originates directly behind the base of pectoral fins. Pectoral fins 34-45% of head length. Vertebrae 158-164; trunk vertebrae 55-59. Lateral line pores to anus 47-49. Supraorbital canal 6; suborbital canal 9; preoperculomandibular canal 11; occipital commissure 3 (Ref. 54804).
