Family:  Clariidae (Airbreathing catfishes)
Max. size:  8.2 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; depth range - 1 m
Distribution:  Asia: known so far from Selangor, Peninsular Malaysia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 23-26; Anal soft rays: 47-50
Biology:  Occurs in a stream about 3 m wide and half a meter deep in a peat swamp forest. The stream has a soft and peaty substrate, covered with large pieces of wood and submerged branches.
