Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 2-2; Dorsal soft rays (total): 31-35; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 32-35. Caudal fin rounded; pelvic fins rudimentary.
Biology:  Inhabits coastal reefs (Ref. 33839). Shy species (Ref. 33839).
